How to write hooks that actually get your reels saved [PDF Download]

The first three seconds of your video are doing all the work. Let's fix them.

Okay, we need to talk about your hooks.

I know that’s not the part of your content you wanted to hear is broken. You spent the weekend getting the b-roll right. You picked the perfect audio. You finally got your transitions to actually transition. And then it landed in three people’s feeds and quietly got buried.

This is the most predictable failure point I see with small business owners on social. Not the content quality. Not the editing. The hook.

The first three seconds of a video and the first six words of a caption are doing 90% of the work. If those don’t land, the rest of your content might as well not exist. The algorithm never gets to your value at second twelve if nobody made it past second two.

So today’s Template Tuesday is the hook library I actually use with my clients. 50 of them, organized by what you want your post to do.

Three free ones so you can taste-test before grabbing the full library:

For saves (curiosity): “Nobody is talking about [topic] but they should be.”

For follows (authority): “I’ve been in [industry] for [X] years and this is the thing nobody mentions.”

For shares (pattern interrupt): “Stop [thing everyone tells you to do]. Do this instead.”

Plug your topic in. Post one this week. Watch what happens.

The other 47 are in the library below. Categorized by what they’re built to do, with insider tips inside each chapter telling you how to use them without falling flat.
